Architecture

Advisor: Marti Hearst

Ame's research is the study of the design process in visual domains and developing computing environments to support creative design. She is interested in the role that information access plays in design decision-making, particularly in how architects use images of other projects as precedents for a current design task. Other interests include exploring how pen based UIs and digital desk environments affect designers' work practices.
