Rashmi Sinha designs, evaluates, and studies user interfaces for a living. She consults for San Francisco Bay Area technology companies. Until recently, she was also working as a lecturer in Human Computer Interaction in the School of Information Management and Systems (SIMS) at UC Berkeley.
Her interests include design of Information Architecture, Online Communities, and Usability Analysis methods. Her work on Interaction Design for Recommender Systems has had a wide impact on the design of such systems. Her most recent project, DialogNow, is an online community devoted to political dialog. She also collaborates with Prof. Marti Hearst and her team at UC Berkeley on the Flamenco project.
