Scott's primary research interest is how we can better support collaboration with tangible interfaces. He is exploring this issue with his efforts on The Designers' Outpost, a physical space that integrates paper and electronic artifacts for collaborative web site design. Scott has also published on speech interface design tools and handheld educational technology.
